Is DTF Printing Durable?

Direct-to-film printing is an advanced method of directly transferring designs from films to fabrics. The process is an innovative alternative to screen-printing but is faster and more efficient in practice.

DTF printing is ideal for work wear, in that the durability is enhanced by the special ink and adhesive. The print doesn’t crack like screen printing as it has a very soft hand due to the water-based ink used. Perfect for garments like overalls, high viz, gym and cycling wear.

The primary characteristic of DTF is that it enables the freedom of using whatever fabric. The DTF printing machines are compatible with various materials and produce colorful and durable designs.

Printing 10m2 an hour with fully automated curing and adhesive application. It’s dual print head technology produces fast single pass prints in high resolution. The quality and vibrancy of the finished garment above all we feel is the best available.

You can use the printer as a stand alone without the automated adhesive/curing unit and takes up very little space.

It is undeniable that DTG printing has a soft, almost no feel, because the ink is directly applied to the clothes. Although DTF printing is not as soft as DTG boasts, transfer printing is more durable. Direct transfer to the film is very good for cleaning and flexible – which means that they will not crack or peel off and are very suitable for heavy-duty items.

Thanks to the adhesive powder, DTF often comes with a 50-wash guarantee. The powder is white and granular and binds pigments together in the DTF printer.

It acts as a binding medium between the substrate and the dye to produce durable prints on the t-shirts. The adhesive process works automatically in the DTF printers, so no extra work is required.

The direct-to-film procedure is a new advancement in the printing industry. It takes the small production company to the next level, making heat-press printing faster and easier.
